Join us on Saint Patrick’s Day weekend as Great Big Sea founding member Séan McCann returns to Ottawa for an outstanding performance singing the Great Big Songbook to celebrate the legend and the legacy of one of Canada’s favourite bands.
Singalong with “the shantyman” as he sails us back in time through hilarious stories and foot stomping traditional favourites to the brighter bays of his native Newfoundland. This is the only “tribute show” you need to see this decade and a nostalgic tip of the hat to the shared history of a truly iconic Canadian band.

La fin de semaine de la Saint-Patrick, Séan McCann, membre fondateur de Great Big Sea, revient à Ottawa pour une performance exceptionnelle en chantant le Great Big Songbook, afin de célébrer la légende et l’héritage de l’un des groupes préférés des Canadiens.
Venez chanter avec le « shantyman » (chanteur de marine), qui nous fera voyager dans le temps avec des histoires hilarantes et des succès traditionnels à faire taper du pied jusque dans les baies radieuses de Terre-Neuve, d’où il est originaire. Ce sera le seul « spectacle hommage » de la décennie à voir, un événement qui se veut un coup de chapeau nostalgique à l’histoire commune d’un groupe canadien véritablement emblématique.
