Yorkshire, the Humber, and the North East Multidisciplinary Neuromuscular Network Meeting

This multidisciplinary meeting is for healthcare professionals working with both children and adults with neuromuscular conditions in the YHNE region. It will combine a mixture of presentations with open forum discussion. Lunch and refreshments are provided.

Topics for discussion include:

• Emerging therapies for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy – Vamorolone and Givinostat
• Transition from paediatrics to adult care for DMD boys – DMD Care UK project
• Well-being for adolescents – practical ideas to help support young people with NM conditions
• What should a regional NM network look like?
• How can we work together across the region to improve patient care?
