York Spectacular Shopping Event York Racecourse

Situated in the prestigious Knavesmire Stand at York Racecourse, York Spectacular Shopping Event organised by Dippy Designs Gifts & Events is easily accessible to all as it has disabled access and stalls are solely on the ground floor. There is ample Free Parking at the Racecourse for customers and there is also a regular bus service on the Saturday from York (Firstbus route 11).This fabulous and unique Shopping Event is in it's 2nd year and we aim to build on this making it a twice yearly event going forward. With over 100 amazing stalls comprising of local Yorkshire businesses, crafters, artists, bakers, designer-makers, artisans, retailers and service providers, this is THE go-to event to buy totally unique gifts this year. Support local businesses and avoid the usual mass produced, imported 'run of the mill' gifts for your loved ones. These really are truly special gifts. Many of the items available are totally unique as they are lovingly hand crafted by our makers and some can even be personalised on the day or to order. Our stallholders are passionate about their work and would love to share it with you and your loved ones. A unique opportunity to meet the makers.As well as the handcrafted stalls, (which make up the majority), there are plenty of local retail and service businesses to compliment this, so you really do get the best of both worlds whilst supporting and buying local.You can support a number of Charities at this event, including our two sponsored charities No to Dog Meat and Castleford Hedgehog Rescue who stand for free! Please help support their amazing work.The atmosphere at this event is fun and relaxed and of course entry to customers is totally free! We don't believe in charging you to go shopping - leaving you more cash to spend on fabulous gifts! There is a cash machine on site and many stallholders accept card payments too.There is a great cafeteria onsite serving various snacks and refreshments whilst you shop! Take a break half way round, then continue your shopping at your leisure. You may need to go round twice to make sure you don't miss anything as there's so much to see!The feedback from customers last year was amazing, many saying it was the nicest event they had been to for buying gifts. You can't say fairer than that!Service dogs only permitted at this venue unfortunately.
