Summer plans? Join us for a safe, enjoyable singing weekend on the 19th - 21st July in York. York is a historic city with a plethora of fantastic buildings in which to sing. We warmly welcome singers with good note reading abilities to join us for a course filled with music from across the English choral tradition. As we seek to build a balanced chamber choir with an challenging repertoire, participants must be experienced singers. Some preparatory work may help, and we will send out rehearsal tracks and music in advance for those who want to get ahead! Services include Compline by candlelight, a Latin mass and a triumphant Evensong to finish.
With ensuite accommodation at St John's University, 5 minutes from the city centre, with breakfast and evening meals- our course makes the perfect choral retreat!
