York House School Bid Night 2024

The York House Parents' Association will be hosting their highly anticipated Annual Fundraising Event: Bid Night 2024 - York House In Bloom.

Come and enjoy an evening of music, drinks and great company in support of the York House Parents' Association. Have a portrait taken courtesy of Mathias Fast Photography then browse and bid on an array of specialty items in our silent auction while grooving to the live music from the YHS Rock Band! Take a chance at winning exciting raffle prizes and enjoy bidding on one-of-a-kind items and experiences in our Live Auction.

All proceeds raised at Bid Night support the Parents’ Association Tiger Scholarship Fund. This endowment fund provides the gift of a York House education to ambitious and deserving students who financially would not otherwise be able to attend. The scholarship supports them entering YHS in Grade 8 all the way through to graduation in Grade 12.

Location: York House Senior School - 4176 Alexandra Street, Vancouver, BC

Time: Doors open at 5:30pm

Dress Code: Semi-Formal

F&B: Drinks & Canapes will be served.

Admission is free, and the first drink is on us!

Please note this is an ADULTS ONLY (19+) event. Only Ticket holders will be admitted. Tickets are non-transferable.
Due to limited capacity, we are currently only welcoming York House families and alums as guests.

Donate To The Auction:

Funds raised at Bid Night have played a pivotal role in supporting scholarships and equipping our school with the essential tools and resources required to deliver the dynamic academic, arts and athletics programs for which York House is known. Guided by the enduring ethos of York House School - embodied in our motto, Not for Ourselves Alone - the proceeds from this year's Bid Night will directly support the Parents' Association Tiger Scholarship Fund which provides the gift of a York House education to promising students who would not otherwise be able to attend York House School.

Please consider donating an item or experience to the live or silent auctions. Some great ideas include tech gift cards, gift cards for spas, retail stores, restaurants, hotel stays, a weekend at your vacation home, fine wines or spirits, designer handbags, scarves, and jewelry.

How Do I Donate?

Please complete the , and drop off the items directly at the Senior School reception along WITH a printed auction donor form. The deadline to submit all silent auction forms and items will be on Friday, November 1st. Tax receipts for donations will be issued upon request, subject to CRA guidelines.

Donors will be recognized in the school's Annual Report, unless they have selected to remain anonymous.
