YoPro Championship Series | Competitive Division

Join to stay in the loop (we play regularly).

High-level pickleball competition with YoPro Sports. Expect to play 3 - 6 matches over the course of this mini tournament (depending on how far you advance 😉).
No partner needed -- we'll connect you with a partner at the tournament; we'll begin the tournament with a prelim round of two matches to help new partners get a rhythm going.
Grand Prize

1. Free 1-month pass to Young Professionals Friday Pickleball Socials
2. Heavy-weight championship belt coronation w/ pictures (the belts cost ~$550 each so you won't get to keep them 😉)
3. One-month access to a court reserved exclusively for king-of-the court matches (the "YoPro Championship Division Court) during the Friday Pickleball Socials in September
4. Receive 1 (of the 16 bids required) for induction into the YoPro Sports Hall of Fame

Format

• Doubles Pickleball
• Each team plays 2 prelim matches within their division; prelim outcomes determine tournament seeding
• The knockout rounds (where you must win to stay alive) follow after the prelims; games during the knock-out stage will be back-to-back with few minutes of rest
• Friendly, self-reported scoring; championship match is refereed
• Tie breakers: 1st - number of wins, 2nd - aggregate point differential; 3rd - coin flip

How the tournament will flow:

• 2:30 - 2:45pm: Check-in
• 3 - 3:45pm: Prelim matches
• 3:45 - 4:30pm: Knock-out rounds
• 4:30pm: Championship match + championship belt coronation
