YogaSOMATICS Restorative and Yoga Nidra Workshop with woodland scents with Deirdre Madden
Sunday, 7 September, 3pm-5pm / €35
A gentle and introspective YogaSOMATICS Restorative workshop which combines slow somatic movements and supported restorative poses. This workshop will be floor-based, where subtle body movements and body sensations will be explored to find support and deep rest. There will be an emphasis on embodiment, relaxation and letting go of physical and mental tension. We will conclude our journey with a guided Yoga Nidra practice to integrate the workshop and promote a deep state of relaxation also known as “yogic sleep”.
This workshop will be accompanied some incense scents from the woodland, such as pine, cedarwood and Palo Santo to create an immersive awakening of the senses and promote a soothing and restful state of being.
This workshop is ideal for anyone looking to feel grounded, reconnect with their body, quiet their mind and come back to themselves. Suitable for all levels; not suitable during pregnancy.
