YogaSix: Pickleball Strong, Yoga for Pickleball Workshop

Join Kristy Manuel, certified yoga therapist and pickleball coach, in this specialized yoga workshop designed to help pickleball players move better, play longer, and reduce injury risk. Blending modern neuroscience with somatic movement practices, we’ll explore how yoga practices enhance the brain, nervous system, and fascia and influence balance, reaction time, joint stability, and efficient power on the court.

Participants will learn practical warm-up routines to prepare the body before play, along with targeted recovery sequences to support muscle repair, mobility, and nervous system down-regulation after matches. Expect mindful, accessible practices that enhance body awareness, improve movement patterns, and support long-term resilience—both on and off the pickleball court.

Kristy, a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT) and highly experienced yoga teacher (ERYT500) has been teaching yoga for more than 20 years and specializes in training yoga teachers and yoga therapists in trauma informed teaching methods. Her background in exercise science has allowed her to combine science and yoga methods to create safe and effective practices.
