About this Event

This half day workshop is designed for the curious. have you had a deep calling for yoga but don't really understand what is it?

There is a reason behind every posture, a story, which help students to find inner strength and clarity.

But just doing the poses keeps you stuck in one part of the practice, when you could have the ability to understand it deeper.

Who is this workshop suitable for?

  • Anyone interested in yoga but don't know where to start
  • Anyone who has been practicing yoga but wishes to dive deeper into the philosophy of the practice
  • New or exsisting yoga teachers looking to refresh their knowledge

How will the day look?

Starting the day with an all levels yogasana class Led by Bibi Fabiola; a movement and wellness teacher with roots in dance and a deep dedication to mind, body and heart connection. Her offerings weave together yoga, breathwork, meditation, and sound baths, creating spaces of presence, release, and renewal. With a gentle yet grounding approach, Bibi invites participants to explore stillness, expand awareness, and reconnect with their inner balance

After the class we will take a short break and get ready for our philosophy class.

The philosophy class will last around 2 hours.

What will be covered?

  • The history of yoga and the rise of modern yoga
  • Understanding the importance of why we actually practice asana in accordance with the hatha yoga pradipika
  • The importance of alignment and the nadis (energy channels) and how B.K.S Iyengar emphasises on these points

The philosophy class will be held by International Yoga Teacher Krissi Cook who has been serving the community of yoga for the past 7 years.
