Tight shoulders, achy neck, sore jaw? Nearly everything we do in our daily lives (driving, computer work, meal preparation, child care) closes off the front of our chests and creates varying degrees of tension in our jaw, neck & shoulders. Similarly, when we become anxious or stressed our bodies respond by contracting our muscles – particularly the jaw. Before long, our shoulders are hiked up to our ears. The good news is that we can work with the body and breath to reverse the stress response and release tension.
This 90 minute Yoga Tune Up ® workshop provides conscious, corrective movements that balance between the worlds of yoga, pain management and fitness to foster a movement-based practice you can do at home to address and relieve tension in our jaw, neck and shoulders.

Andrea blends elements of stability and mobility as the foundation of movement and exercise for each class and guides you through a balanced practice to optimize health and wellbeing.
