Yoga, Sound Healing, & Guided Breathwork Workshop

Join YogaSix Hyde Park and Yogiman Sean (IG: @yogimansean) for a restorative sound healing session that will marry breathwork, sound healing, and a restorative flow. This restorative and healing session will create a space to center oneself in love, gratitude, and acceptance.

Because everything has a vibrational frequency, including ourselves, sound frequencies can have a profound impact on how we feel. Sound healing is an ancient healing technique that uses tonal frequencies to bring the body into a state of vibrational balance and harmony. Sound frequencies slow down brain waves to a deeply restorative state, activating the body's self-healing system. Sound baths are proven to reduce stress, lower blood pressure and improve sleep.

This session will create space for us to center ourselves and meditate in self love, gratitude and acceptance. We will begin with a gong bath and guided breathwork that will move any stagnant energy in your body prior to beginning a short restorative flow. Our session will conclude with a healing crystal singing bowl sound bath that will bring you into a deep state of relaxation and calm.

About the Facilitator: Sean Cattouse is a native Chicagoan. He is a former NFL player who currently dedicates his time to educating youth and helping communities heal through yoga, mindfulness meditations, and sound healing.
