This practice combines the deeply healing yoga practices of Yoga Nidra and Yoga Therapy to create a unique therapeutic experience for both body and mind. We will begin our journey towards deep states of awakening with therapeutic yoga postures, breath techniques, and guided imagery to cultivate a state of inner awareness. As the activity of the mind begins to dissolve into bodily sensation we will seamlessly transition into a state of yoga bliss with the meditation-based practice of Yoga Nidra, or 'sleep yoga.' This therapeutic yoga practice is not only relaxing, it is a doorway to deeper states of consciousness, transformation, and profound healing shifts. This workshop requires little movement and accommodates all skill levels.
