Give yourself the gift of a true pause to ground and centre as autumn dawns and we shift our energies to settle into contemplative practices.
This is time of year that naturally calls us to introspection, old spinnings can be evaluated, patterns found, stray threads cut, minor oversights in our stitching repaired, and needed resources sought. We pause and hear the insight within, for we are the Weavers.
Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation”. It’s practiced lying down & draws our attention inwards, as we begin to relax and drop through the states of wakefulness and sleep, where our body finds its natural state of equilibrium (homeostasis) – the breath balances, becomes quiet, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and we fall into a state of deep, blissful relaxed awareness.
