About this Event
Yoga Nidra also known as Yogic Sleep, has been used successfully to aid insomnia, stress, anxiety, depression and numerous other health issues. Rest and restore with this guided lying down meditation.
PLEASE ONLY REGISTER FOR YOURSELF 1 TICKET PER NAME
What to bring :
- BYOM = Bring your own mat or yoga rug
- thin blanket or extra layers to stay warm
- thin pillow or towel for under the head
- small towel or eye pillow to cover eyes (optional)
- any other props that support your practice (e.g. blocks, cushions, bolsters)
The practice of Yoga Nidra starts at the time you enter the room. Please be mindful and quiet. Arrive 5 - 10 minutes before class to get settled. No latecomers will be allowed please. This will disturb the teacher, other participants and the flow of the class. The duration of the Yoga Nidra class is 40 minutes. We begin with 5 minutes of centering breathwork and we end the class with 5 minutes of integration.
Ages: No children younger than 15 years old. As much as we love children this is a ‘lying down meditation” and requires stillness. Younger ages tend to be more active this will disturb the teacher, other participants and the flow of the class. Please respect.
Notes : Please refrain from wearing heavy perfumes and avoid coming if you are feeling sick.
Attire : Loose fitting clothes.
