Hello everyone,

The weather is warming up and I am happy to be back hosting yoga in the park! Classes will be led by me, Lisa Santianni (IG - @lisasantianni). You will be guided through an all levels flow class - moving, stretching, and strengthening the body, allowing stagnant energy to move freely, with the goal of getting out of our minds and into our bodies.

I aim to provide a safe, fun, heartfelt and accessible space for all - breathing, stretching, and strengthening the body. In my classes, I love to combine movement with a sense of playfulness, all while planting seeds of wisdom and inspiration from my ongoing studies of yoga philosophy to integrate into daily life. My hope is that you leave feeling a sense of nourishment and connection to the Self.

~BIO~

Lisa felt an immediate connection to yoga the very first time she practiced over 20 years ago. Initially drawn to it for the physical health advantages, over-time, she naturally began to experience reduced stress and anxiety, while developing an even deeper connection and understanding of the mind, body, and spirit. Eventually, she knew it was time to fulfil the innate desire to strengthen her relationship with yoga and completed her 250-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) with IAM Yoga in 2017 and has since fulfilled an 8-hour “Intro to Restorative Yoga.” She continues to study Yoga Philosophy with Hali Schwartz.

Lisa is passionate about continuing to learn- for her own benefit and for those she shares her practice with. She teaches Classic, Hatha, Flow and Restorative styles of yoga, bringing elements of gentleness and play while staying true to the roots of the practice. Lisa aims to provide a safe, fun and accessible place for all, uniting movement with breath and providing the opportunity to look deeper within - to feel, to heal, to grow and be present.

Lisa currently teaches at IAM Yoga (Yonge & Bloor) every Tuesday at 6:30pm and Saturday at 9am
