Join certified yoga instructor and competitive runner Kim Krapcha for 1 or all 3 sessions of this Yoga for Runners class series.
Session 1: Sunday 4/28 at 6pm
Focus: strengthening and then stretching the muscles that support our running. Core, glutes, hamstrings, oh my!
Session 2 : Sunday 5/19 at 6pm
Focus will be on proprioception - our automatic sense of body positioning, force, and movement mechanics in terms of how we run. To drive this point home, we'll flow through some balance postures that keep us stable and moving fluidly while running.
Session 3 - Friday 6/21 at 5:45am
Focus: Running! We'll put what we've learned to use in a 30min sunrise run downtown, followed by a rooftop flow into yin practice. Didn't make it to the first 2 sessions? Come run and flow with us anyway!
All levels welcomed.
Please register in advance for the classes you'd like to attend, and bring a cash donation with you when you come to the studio. Minimum donation: $10/session
