Join Takako and learn yoga poses and helpful tips to strengthen bones and muscles. She will guide you in somatic movements, simple yoga poses, and strengthening movements as she explains why these poses are beneficial to get stronger. The workshop will conclude with supported Savasana. The skills you gain during the workshop will help you become an informed yoga practitioner as you attend other yoga classes and exercise on your own. Please bring a yoga mat. We will use small set of weights, chair, and other props at the studio. We will need to be able to get up and down from the yoga mat. All levels of yoga experience are welcome, but if you are concerned about your bone health, please get your doctor’s approval before signing up. Please remove bracelets, wrist watches, and silence your phones upon arrival.
