Yoga at North Haven Gardens

NEW! Community yoga in the gardens. Deepen your connection to all things natural as you experience yoga practice with us. NHG welcomes yoga teacher (and plant lover) Sofia Mercedes for a series of monthly yoga practice classes, geared for both beginners and experienced yogis alike. Yoga and plants! Come as you are, root down and ready to grow.

We'd like you here! Classes are donation-based, with a suggested amount of $20, and you may also pay at the door. Funds go to the teacher. Pay what you can, give more if you feel called, or simply show up with your presence and breath. Your contribution helps cover space costs and supports future planned community events.

Our space is limited to only 30 attendees. Please bring your own mat and any needed props, along with your water bottle. NOTE: all attendees will be required to sign a waiver form prior to participating. This class is outdoors on our shaded, artificial turf lawn, and the class will be postponed or possibly cancelled if the weather isn't conducive.

Sofía Mercedes is a 200 R.Y.T with a deep love for nature, plants, and intentional living. Certified through Black Swan Yoga in Dallas, she’s been guiding classes since 2023. Her classes are grounding, heart-led, and often inspired by nature.

For her, yoga is more than physical postures – it’s a pathway to self-awareness, inner peace, and living with presence. Her teaching style is warm, welcoming, and down-to-earth—perfect for all levels, whether you’re brand new to yoga or a longtime practitioner. She guides slow, intentional movements to help people reconnect—with their breath, their bodies, and the earth beneath their feet. Sharing yoga in a garden space brings together two of her greatest passions and offers a peaceful, earthy space for going inward.
