In this workshop, we will explore the intersections between yoga and Somatic Experiencing through the lens of nervous system repair.
We will practice asana and mindful social engagement utilizing SE skills and themes in service to healing our connection with our bodies, hearts, planet, and each other.
This three hour window will allow for deeper regulation, connection, and integration. We will explore several themes collaboratively through mindful sharing & reflection in circle format throughout the workshop, with partner and small group connection as well . We’ll review trauma from a nervous system lens, as well as common dysregulation patterns. This workshop aims to provide tools for self regulation & coregulation, while applying foundational SE principles in yoga application.
