Yoga and Ceramics Day Retreat

As Autumn sets its time to nest, time move slow and expansively, time to eat well, and time to find joy in creativity. Join us for a magical day of moving and making set in the calming oasis of the The White Door Studio. We start our day with a warming yet restorative yoga flow, getting you out of your mind and into your body. Followed by a well earned delicious lunch by @stretchandfoldyogabakery expect autumnal veggies and delicious grains and sourdough. Then the inspiring Desiree from @dewe_ceramics will talk you through everything you need to know to get you started on your ceramic journey sharing a few different techniques to enable you to make the mug/pot/spoons of your dreams .

This is for EVERYONE, we are all creative beings whether you have connected in recently or not. This a wonderful day to explore, question, and create.

Tash Richards – White Door Studio teacher and creative

Desiree Weerts of Dewe Ceramics - ceramics artist based in Amsterdam, and general creative magician.

Important ceramic details

Your pieces will be half dipped in glaze in Desiree’s signature style. She will then take all pieces back to her Amsterdam studio to bisque, glaze, and then fire for the final time. This is a bit of a process and so pieces will be ready to collect 3 weeks after our workshop date at White Door Studio. You will have one week to collect your piece unless otherwise arranged.
