World Embrace Tango invites you to dance Argentine tango in the gorgeous Olympia Ballroom at Milonga Yo Soy El Tango on the first Sunday afternoon of every month in 2024! Join us for a charming afternoon of tango, light refreshments and fantastic tango music-- our DJ lineup for 2024 is turning out to be just astounding! I am excited to introduce our first Artist Market this month with local pottery from Lindsey at OlyPots, bouquets for purchase from Fleurae and art on display painted by Ember’s horse Harley - you have to see it to believe it!
April’s DJ is seattle’s powerhouse talented Loelle Lim. She’ll also be teaching the pre-milonga class from 3:30-4PM. The intro class is beginner friendly, providing a tango appetizer to get us warmed up and ready to socialize. All levels are welcome.

???????: Parking in downtown is ample, but there is no parking lot directly in front of the ballroom. Street parking is best and is free on Sundays in Olympia.
??????: This is a Sunday afternoon milonga; Sunday best is encouraged but not required. We are privileged to dance tango in this beautiful ballroom- wear something that makes you feel good and something you can move in. The ballroom has a beautiful wood floor; dance shoes (tango/ballroom/dance sneakers) /or suede sole shoes or necessary.
???????? ???? ?????????: We welcome out of town guests! The area directly around the Olympia Ballroom is a fantastic place to spend your day. There are lovely lunch and dinner options within walking distance, including Uptown Grill, Asahi Sushi, and El Sitio Restaurant (which happens to be located within the same building, directly downstairs).

***Please note that Milonga Yo Soy El Tango will take place the first Sunday of every month in 2024 EXCEPT in June and October. These weekends are set aside for special events in collaboration with OlyDance.
