YMSO Spring Concert 2025: Caribbean celebration

The Yale Medical Symphony Orchestra (YMSO) will present A Caribbean Celebration on Friday, May 16, at 7:30 p.m., in Harkness Auditorium. Music Director Steven Huang will conduct this unique group of musicians from Yale School of Medicine, Yale New Haven Hospital, and the medical center community.
The concert will feature music from Caribbean composers Meza, Marquez, and Laguerre among others, as well as the Cuban Overture by Gershwin.
These concerts have become very popular, and space in Harkness Auditorium is limited. The fire marshal requires that we close the doors when the auditorium is filled. Please get there in plenty of time for the 7:30 p.m. performance. Admission, as always, is free of charge.
