Behind every confident speaker is often someone who believed in them, guided them and gave them the courage to keep going.
This September, as Singapore commemorates Teachers’ Day, YMCA Toastmasters Club is taking the opportunity to celebrate another group of people who make a difference in our learning journey: our Toastmasters mentors.
Mentorship in Toastmasters goes beyond teaching someone how to deliver a speech. A good mentor listens, encourages, challenges and sometimes sees potential in us before we see it ourselves.
Join us for a special YMCA Toastmasters Club Chapter Meeting: Appreciate Our Mentors, an evening dedicated to learning, growing and recognising the people who help us become better communicators and leaders.
