Join us for YMCA Night at the UNC Asheville Bulldogs Men's Basketball game on Wednesday, Jan. 7!All YMCA members, staff, and their families get in for FREE! Please be prepared to show proof of YMCA membership/employee ID for tickets at the arena box office (only 1 will be needed for your group).
This game (vs Longwood Lancers at 6:30 p.m.) is all about the Y so there will be tons of Y messaging throughout the arena, Rico Suave will lead a Zumba class at halftime, we will have several tables providing info about Y programming, and there will be a special ball presentation on the court.
The Hop Ice Cream will also be debuting a new ice cream flavor called "Community Cup Ice Cream", a special small-batch flavor created in collaboration with Terri Brne, whose work spans both UNC Asheville Athletics and the YMCA of Western North Carolina.
Community Cup Ice Cream features a PennyCup Coffee cold brew–infused ice cream base, mixed with chocolate-covered espresso beans from French Broad Chocolates and Hop-made salted caramel praline. The flavor brings together several beloved local partners, each representing a shared commitment to quality, care, and community.
