YMCA LakeFest 5k and Kids Fun Run is an annual event held the weekend of Lake Festival in beautiful Downtown Clarksville, VA – Virginia’s only lake side town!Frank Csorba was a Clarksville native and running phenom. He held the record for several years for the fastest LakeFest 5k and was known to run the course to “warm up” before the race. The race is now held in his honor and memory for the outstanding young man he was and the example he set through his athletic determination.
This year’s race will take place on Saturday, July 19th, 2025 with the Fun Run kicking off at 7:30am and the 5k at 8:00am.
Registration begins Monday, May 19th.
T-shirt cut off is July 1st.
Day-of registration available for $10 more.
Awards given for Overall Male, Overall Female, and Top 3 Male & Female in age groups: 19 & under, 20-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 71+
