Yjastros Presents: The Spanish Room NOW

Step into The Spanish Room NOW with Yjastros: The American Flamenco Repertory Company as they inhabit a kaleidoscope of scenes that shift between the familiar, the visceral, and the imagined. Each encounter between dancers and musicians unfolds within a new environment, bringing another room into being. Movement, music, light, and scenery frame each room, conjuring fleeting impressions of gardens, alleyways, bars, and boudoirs that emerge and dissolve around the dancers. Each work of choreography transforms the emotional landscape, revealing a room with its own character, rhythm, and memory. You’re invited on a fantastical journey where the past folds into the present, the real into the imagined, and the nostalgic into the unexpected. Welcome to The Spanish Room NOW. Won’t you come in? Coming to a stage near you this fall!
