A gentle yin yoga class + live ambient guitar.
About this Event

As part of Third Space Improv's new "Yes, And ..." series, we welcome Yin + Live Music with Steff!

This workshop will guide participants through a 90-minute yin yoga sequence as the sounds of live ambient guitar fill the ears and encourage total relaxation. Guided by Steffanie, a 500 hour experienced yoga teacher with an MA in psychology, who is also a therapist and reiki energy worker. Offering several options during this practice, students are encouraged to listen to their own bodies and find the shapes that feel good. As ambient guitar swirls around the space, yogis will find a gentle stretch as the muscles melt towards the ground. This practice is perfect for anyone and everyone, and all are welcome exactly as they are.

About yin yoga:

Yin yoga works on the connective tissues of the body. Finding your edge in each yin shape, that space in your body where you feel a slight stretch, but are not in any pain. Holding your edge in each shape for five minutes allows the time necessary for your muscles to release, which is when our connective tissues take over to slowly elongate and strengthen. Benefits of yin yoga include increased range of motion, reduced stress, better sleep, increased circulation and building awareness in the mind and body.

What students are saying about Steffanie's class:

“My blood pressure is the lowest it has been in years after regularly attending your yin class the last few months. Your classes have truly been amazing for me in a million different ways, I leave feeling both relaxed and energized!” - Erin
“It’s never just a yoga class with you. Your energy work is so beautiful, you are so bright like a star, and it lead to a huge emotional revelation during this class!!” - Elaine
“Steffanie teaches you how to take charge of your body and its needs, as well as how to listen closely to what’s happening and changing inside of you. She has been a blessing and a life changer for me!” - Ellen

Join Steffanie as she guides you to let go of tension in your body, mind, and spirit to reach a deep level of relaxation leaving you recharged and peaceful.
