Yeti Offense Clinic being hosted by Small Wonder Skate Club! We're stoked to have you join us!Come and learn some sick moves with the one and only YETI!!!
There will be two sessions offered, each of which are two hours in length, with a scrimmage after the second one that will be open to all skill levels. The clinics will cover the same principles, so no fear of missing out if you decide to pick one over the other.
Here are the details:
ADDRESS: Trinity Recreation Center
6040 New Design Road
Frederick, MD
FLOOR: Hardwood gymnasium/basketball court, is very slick. Recommended wheels are between 88s and 93s depending how much slide you like. MAYBE 95s if you like a slip.
SESSION ONE: Novice/Intermediate skaters (C/B competitive level)
ARRIVAL AND CHECK-IN: 2 pm
CLINIC START TIME: 2:30
COST: $15 for skating participants, $5 for off skates observers
SESSION TWO: Advanced/Elite skaters (A/AA competitive level)
ARRIVAL AND CHECK IN: 4:15 pm
CLINIC START TIME: 4:45
Spots for each clinic are limited to 40 skaters and 10 off skates observers. Recording is absolutely permitted. Your spot is confirmed only once payment has been received. The spots are first come, first served, and are guaranteed only when payment is received. Filling out this form is not a guarantee of participation.
Payment can be made to the SWSC PayPal ([email protected]) or Venmo (@SmallWonderSC). If neither of these payment options are available for your use, please contact us via email at [email protected]. Please use YETI CLINIC - PAYMENT QUESTION in the subject line. When paying via PayPal and Venmo, please include in the note field your derby name and either Yeti Session 1 or Yeti Session 2 to make it easier to track payments.
Open scrimmage will start at 7:00 and end at 7:50. The shirt colors will be black and white, and skaters will be sorted onto teams prior to the clinic so we can get started quicker.
