York County Libraries is excited to announce the Youth Empowerment Summit to be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Martin Library. All York County high school students are welcome (public, private, charter, cyber, and homeschool). Breakout sessions will be for teens and information tables on higher education, careers, and wellness.
The Keynote Speaker is Jennifer Foxworthy, an alumnus of William Penn High School, retired Navy veteran, author, and motivational speaker. Her keynote address focuses on perseverance, confidence, and developing a sound work ethic to achieve goals.
