YEP Forum x Jacobs Hackathon Event

The YEP Forum and Jacobs are thrilled invite you to our upcoming event, a hackathon, titled “Challenges to the Energy Transition”.

Date: Wednesday 16th October

Time: 17:30 - 20:30 (Presentations from 18:00)

Location: Jacobs, Cottons Centre, London SE1 2QG

As well as an introduction to the YEP Forum, this interactive event we will hear from four subject matter experts at Jacobs:

• Freddie van der Linde - T&D Supply Chain
• Joe Andersen - Electricity Highways Offshore
• Asima Anjum - Low-carbon Hydrogen Production for Industrial Decarbonisation
• Rhian Jones - The Future of the Gas Network

Following the presentations there will be a hackathon, where small groups navigated by our expert presenters will be tasked with finding the solution to key energy transition challenges. After the hackathon, attendees are encouraged to network informally over food.

This will be an opportunity to broaden your knowledge, make connections with like-minded peers, and to consider key challenges facing the energy sector from a multi-disciplinary perspective.
