Year 6 Celebration of Success

This year’s Primary School Celebration of Success will be held on the morning of Friday 4 December 2026 at 9.30am at Meridan College’s Sports Performance Centre followed by a morning tea for parents, carers and our Year 6 students.
This Ceremony is a celebration of the completion of primary schooling and an opportunity to acknowledge your child’s achievements.
The Year 6 teachers would like to take this opportunity to invite families into their child’s classroom prior to our ceremony, to view some of the amazing work that we have been doing in our Visual Arts unit.
Classroom doors will be open at 8.45am.
Please find below some important information regarding preparing for and attending this event.
Dress
Whilst this is a special event for your child and family, we encourage parents to minimise the expense when choosing clothing for their children. We suggest that our students dress as they would when going to a wedding as a guest.
Student Sign Out
Many families choose to celebrate this day by going out to lunch with their children following this event.
Important points to note:
• We invite two guests per graduating student. Extended family members are welcome to attend; however, we kindly ask that they be seated in the bleachers.
• Students have an opportunity to collect their friend’s signatures prior to the event on a Meridan Core Values Key. This key will be included in their Celebration of Success Pack.
More information will be communicated at the beginning of Term 4, including a link to RSVP and an option to sign your child out after the celebration.
