Our Year 5 and 6 Enterprise Week will be taking place in a couple of weeks’ time. As part of this, our young entrepreneurs will be hosting their selling days on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd July.
During these days, every pupil in the school will have the opportunity to visit and purchase items from the fantastic stalls our children have created. The ideas this year are truly brilliant! Products include sweet treats, homemade and 3D printed items, slime, crochet goodies, Croc charms, and much more. Some of these fantastic items will also be available to purchase at the FOSCS Summer Fete.
All money raised will go back into the school to support valuable resources such as books, so it is a wonderful cause. We would really appreciate it if you could send your child in with a small amount of money on these days. This experience allows our pupils to develop important life skills such as handling money, giving change, communication, and even a little friendly haggling—all while raising funds for the school.
Additionally, one of our Year 6 pupils is planning to run a second-hand book stall and is kindly asking for any book donations. If you have any unwanted books at home, we would be very grateful if you could bring them to the Year 6 classroom or the school office. Your donations will make a big difference, and she will be immensely grateful.
