About this Event

Experience College Life at Our Year 10 Experience Day on Thursday 2 July 2026!

Are you a curious and motivated Year 10 student keen to explore what college life is really like? Our Year 10 Experience Day is the perfect opportunity for you to do just that!

On Thursday 2 July 2026, we're inviting Year 10 students to spend the day on campus and get a real taste of college life.

Students can attend either as part of an organised school trip or independently (with permission from both their school and parent/carer).

During your visit, you will explore our campus, take part in interactive curriculum workshops and activities, and get a feel for student life. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and get advice from our friendly and knowledgeable staff.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Event Details:
πŸ•™ Time: 10:00am – 2:30pm

πŸš— Transport: Schools attending as a group must arrange their own transport and staff supervision for the day. Students attending independently must arrange their own travel to and from campus.

πŸ₯— Lunch: Please bring your own packed lunch as no food service will be available.

πŸ‘Ÿ Clothing: This is a large campus and the day involves walking between different areas and taking part in practical activities. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear. If anything specific is required, this information will be provided closer to the date.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Booking your place:

Bookings must be made by the student (with support from a teacher, parent/carer or guardian if needed), with the name of the student for our registers.

If you are attending via an organised school trip:

  • You must confirm the visit has been authorised by your school before booking.
  • You will need to provide the name of your School Staff Lead, school contact email and school phone number when booking.
  • Students attending as part of a school trip will remain under the supervision of their school staff throughout the visit.

If you are attending independently:

  • You must have permission from both your school (if applicable) and your parent/carer to attend during school hours.
  • Parents/carers are welcome to remain on site during the event (attend a presentation and campus tour), or drop off and collect.
  • Independent students will sign in and out and will be supported by college staff during curriculum sessions.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Choosing your Curriculum Sessions:

You will need to choose two different curriculum sessions when booking - one morning session and one afternoon session.

Places in sessions are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis - Early booking is recommended.

Sessions will be repeated (AM/PM) to allow as many students as possible to take part - so please do not pick the same session AM and PM.

Curriculum area sessions will be available during ticket registration.

NEW – Foundation Level 1 Curriculum Sessions

This year we are offering Foundation Level 1 sessions in Equine, Animal Care, Agriculture, Entry and Forest School.

These sessions run in smaller groups and focus on low-demand, practical activities, providing a supportive introduction to vocational learning.

Due to the nature of the environments and activities, these sessions may not be suitable for students with more complex support needs. We encourage you to contact us before booking to discuss individual requirements and explore how we can best support each learner.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

πŸ•™ Registration closes: Friday 19th June 2026

Register for your place today to guarantee your spot to discover what makes our college so special. We can't wait to welcome you to our campus and help you explore your options for further education!
