YDC Fall Adult Art Classes
Led by local artist and YDC Program Coordinator Lindsay Browning, each session will include guided instruction, creative prompts, and dedicated studio time. Participants will work with a range of drawing and painting materials while learning foundational artistic concepts such as composition, color, value, texture, and expressive mark-making.
More than an art class, this series is intended to serve as a peaceful weekly gathering where adults can slow down, reconnect with their creativity, and enjoy the restorative benefits of making art alongside others in the community. To ensure the program is accessible to everyone, the class will be offered on a pay-what-you-can basis with a suggested contribution of $10–15 per session.
By the end of the series, participants will have completed several original works of art, gained practical artistic techniques, and experienced the joy of creating within a supportive community.
