Ray’s main research is in macroeconometrics, but he’s also done fascinating work in finance, voting behavior, and even how athletic performance declines with age. Since 1983, he’s been sharing quarterly updates and forecasts using his U.S. macroeconometric model, and since 1980, he’s provided quadrennial forecasts with his presidential vote-share equation. Currently, he’s exploring the price effects of tariffs and the financial costs of contact sports in schools and colleges. Don’t miss this chance to hear from a true expert in the field!
