Join us to we explore some of the wonderful outdoor swimming spots in and around Birmingham.Cold water swimming has many benefits including:
Mindfulness practice.
Increased immunity.
Decrease inflammation.
Boosting self esteem.
Wild swimming will also offer us the opportunity to cultivate body positivity, acceptance, and appreciation.
At Yoga Borne our values are compassion, connection, and community and we are delighted to share this offering with you.
Meet new people, or bring your friends along, have a dip (if you want to), a chat, and a cuppa to warm up after.
Essentially we will scout the locations (and would love to hear suggestions from you too).
We will then share the location / company / website / booking details with you to make your own booking and read any useful information for health and safety.
If the swim is not at a specially managed centre then it will of course be free to come along and no booking will be required.
We think the easiest way to do this is via our Yoga Borne Community WhatsApp Group managed by studio owner, Karine.
To receive the invite link to this group please drop a text message or WhatsApp to 07854313114 expressing your interest.
Once you have been added to the group we will ask that you add a very brief intro. This helps us to get to know each other and also ensures that the group is managed safely, and used in mind of Yoga Borne as a small business and the community only.
The WhatsApp group is also a great space to arrange sharing lifts.

We advise a wetsuit and gloves / socks.
Bring a sugary snack and hot drink to warm up.
Change of clothes / towel.
There is no pressure to dip / swim. Please do come along if you are curious or would just like to spend some time with a friendly group.
