Yellowbelly 101 invites you to our next free actor workshop featuring Broadway, TV, and voiceover professional Talia Thiesfield. This isn’t your typical rushed audition class. This is a safe, supportive playground designed for actors to slow down, explore, and actually dig deep into the craft.

Whether you want to nail your signature type or completely shatter your current casting box, this workshop gives you the time and space to experiment without the pressure of booking the job.

ADMISSION:

• Free of charge (Strictly limited capacity; RSVP required)

WHAT TO PREPARE & BRING:

To maximize your time on your feet, please bring one contemporary side matching these strict constraints:

• Length: Maximum of 90 seconds OR 2 pages (no exceptions).
• Format: Printed copy for the reader, plus your own copy.

Choose your material based on one of these three tracks:

1. The Slam Dunk: A piece you are so totally right for that it feels like second nature.
2. The Wildcard: Something completely different from what you usually get called in for, but desperately want to play.
3. The Technical Scare: A self-tape or audition piece featuring a technical challenge that frightens you (e.g., handling intimacy, heavy prop work, eye-line traps).

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Because Yellowbelly 101 workshops are completely free to the actor community, seats are highly competitive. If you grab a ticket, you are committing to attend. If an emergency arises, please release your ticket immediately so an actor on the waitlist can take your spot.
