Yasmina Nights returns for another evening of poetry, storytelling and creativity at Yasmina Café!
Whether you’re an experienced performer, a first-time writer or simply someone who enjoys listening, you’re warmly invited to join us. Take the mic and share your poetry, spoken word, short stories or personal reflections—or sit back, enjoy a drink and discover Newcastle’s creative talent.
Expect a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, meaningful performances and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow writers, performers and art lovers.
Enjoy Arabic coffee, chai and refreshments while experiencing an evening filled with powerful words, inspiring stories and good company.

Who Can Perform?
Anyone.
Poetry, spoken word, storytelling, reflections, and personal writing are all welcome.
We simply ask that performances remain respectful, family-friendly, and suitable for an audience that may include children aged 10 and above.
Each performance is limited to a maximum of 10 minutes.

To make participation as accessible as possible, we offer both English and Arabic registration forms. Please use whichever language you feel most comfortable with.
