Yalla Midwest: Choreography Workshop with Live Music

Live Music Workshop! This event was created to give dancers time and space to practice dancing with live music by providing a workshop setting and the framework of a choreography, taught by Kimberly. Practicing to live music adds so much dynamic and energy, this will be a really fun workshop! Belly dance choreography essentials, technique, movement quality, and musicality will be covered. Live music will be perfomed by Bayati, a collective of local professional musicians who play a canon of Middle Eastern Classics. From 1:30 to 3:30 at St Mark's Hope and Peace Lutheran Church on Troost. Parking lot available.
