October 25: Deadline for team drops (afterwards, there will be a drop fee).
October 25: Payments due.
October 28-29: Tournament!

REGISTRATION
Cap: 140
Fees: $180 USD per Team. Financial assistance is available for teams in need; reach out to [email protected].

We do allow hybrid / cross teams at the Yale IV (ie, the speakers are from different universities) in keeping with the US, rather than the international, definition of IV.
JUDGING REQUIREMENTS
Requirement: n-1 (e.g. 4 teams = bring 3 judges). Information on Institutional Judges forthcoming.
Missing Judge Fees: the penalty for failing to meet the judge requirement is $50 for the first missing judge, and an additional $100 for each subsequent missing judge.
PAYMENT
Teams will be expected to make payment by Wednesday, October 25 at 11:59pm. We will offer financial aid for teams with demonstrated need. Teams concerned about the cost of attendance should contact us at [email protected]. The deadline to request financial aid is Sunday, October 15 at 11:59PM.
Our tournament is pay-to-play. Your team will NOT be eligible to compete without proof of payment. We offer Zelle/PayPal/credit card/check options for payment. Please reach out to [email protected] with questions.
HOUSING AND FOOD
Registration for the Yale IV includes breakfast and lunch on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Please include any dietary restrictions in the registration forms. For the pre-reg form, provide an ESTIMATE we can use for planning purposes. We will then consider dietary restrictions on the team registration form (to be released later) final.
We will provide crash housing for Friday and Saturday night on a limited basis. There will be priority given to teams who register and pay earlier and who demonstrate greater need for crash housing. More information will be out later.

COVID-19 VACCINATION AND COMPLIANCE
Per the Yale administration’s COVID-19 policy, all participants are “visitors” and are encouraged to be up to date with their vaccines. All participants are expected to follow university health and safety guidelines.
