ADN Music / NDAYart Prod. LLC presents YAKOU & FRIENDS — an evening celebrating music, collaboration, creativity and community at the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre in Marietta, Georgia.
Led by drummer, composer, producer and bandleader Yakou N’guessan, Yakou & Friends brings together artists from different parts of his creative journey—musicians he performs with, artists he has produced, and original music from his own catalog.
The evening opens at 7:30 PM with two special 30-minute performances from Too Many Peachtree Street and Kaya’s Embrace.
Following a brief intermission, Yakou & The Urban Legends take the stage at 8:45 PM, featuring Jorge Garcia (guitar), Randy Hoexter (piano), Cleidinilson Costa (bass), Jhon Martez (trumpet), Santiago Junca (percussion), Allen Cook (vocals), Precious Taylor (vocals), and Yakou N’guessan (drums).
Expect an evening of original compositions, deep grooves, jazz, soul, world-music influences and the musical chemistry that has become the signature of Yakou & The Urban Legends.
