YAGODY Concert

The four women of YAGÓDY are on a mission to preserve and reimagine the ancient folk songs of Ukraine. Performing in traditional dress—often in richly embroidered vyshyvanky—they infuse each song with raw emotion, fierce spirit, and deep reverence for their cultural roots.

Their music, at once haunting and rebellious, has been described as “the songs of wild tribes... the voice of your ancestors... a dance with voices.” With layered harmonies and driving percussion, YAGÓDY creates a living soundscape of Ukraine’s history, soul, and natural landscape.

Their self-titled debut album introduced audiences to powerful interpretations of Ukrainian, Bulgarian, and Serbian folk songs. In 2024, their original composition “Tsunamia” earned national acclaim at the Eurovision Songwriting Contest, placing fifth in Ukraine’s finals.

Having captivated audiences across Europe—from Poland to Germany—YAGÓDY now brings their stirring and unforgettable performance to Portland.
