Club X presents Y2K vs 2010s — the Saturday where two eras walk in and only one runs the floor. Are you the Y2K it-girl, low-rise denim and butterfly clips, frosted lipgloss, flip phone energy, the era where MTV was still on and every song was a moment? Or are you the 2010s baddie, indie sleaze into tumblr into festival core, the era where the aux cord was a status symbol and every playlist had that one song that ruined your life? 715 Harrison turns into a two-era experience where both girls eat and the DJs blend every anthem that made those years feel iconic.
Magic Matt and Mark G take the booth all night moving between the millennium pop moments, the r&b that lived in your parents' car, the electro-house that made 2011 unforgettable, and the throwback hip-hop that still hits on the first note. Expect the songs you had on your first iPod, the songs that played at every middle school dance, and the drops that made the 2010s club era what it was. Dress code is your era of the story — velour tracksuits, trucker hats, chunky highlights, layered tanks if you're Y2K; American Apparel, high-waisted shorts, indie sleaze eyeliner, festival flower crowns if you're 2010s. Both sides welcome. Both sides get down. Bonus points if you can pull off both in one outfit.
Doors open at 10pm. Students with valid ID get FREE entry until 10:30pm — come early, the line starts at 9:15pm and it gets long by 11. Reserved seating and table service available for groups who want their own moment above the floor with bottle presentation, dedicated host, and the best sightlines of the DJ booth.
