Yoga of 12 Step Recovery (Y12SR) connects the dots between the ancient wisdom of yoga, the practical tools of 12-step programs, and the latest research on trauma healing and neurobiology. It works in tandem with traditional treatment to address the physical, mental and spiritual disease of addiction.
Y12SR is a yoga class for anyone seeking freedom from addiction, alcoholism, codependency, and other obsessions of the body, mind and spirit. Certified Yoga Teacher Betty Amatangelo will guide students through mindful movement and informative discussion on the 12 steps. The hope for attendees is that they leave class with more hope and resilience toward a life well lived.
Beginning September 5th, class will be held Thursdays from 5:15PM- 6:30PM in our yoga studio.
Register and pay upon arrival, minimum $5 donation to instructor.
