2026 Theme: “Building Momentum”
Every young person deserves a chance to move forward — but many face barriers that hold them back. At Youth One, we believe that momentum changes everything. The Youth One Gala is more than a night of celebration, it’s a movement to help youth take real steps forward in their journey. Through mentorship, meals, and community support, we help young people overcome adversity and gain the momentum they need to thrive. When youth face challenges, they don’t just need programs — they need people who believe in them. That’s where you come in. Together as a community, we can turn one small step into lasting change for hundreds of youth across Lethbridge.

• Program: We’re tapping into our youthful roots with the all-new Y1 Gala experience. Every ticket purchased, game played, balloon sponsored, and auction item won — helps fund out-of-school programs, daily meals, and support for vulnerable youth. Together, we’re building momentum and helping young people take their next step forward.

Here is a little taste of what to expect:
- Come for cocktail hour to get the full experience and try out some our new fun games (make sure you wear something you feel comfortable in!)
- A unique live crowdfunding experience.
- Complimentary drinks and appetizers upon arrival

- Catering by Sky + Table
- Live Auction and giveaways, with the Perlich Bros.

Gala & Games Experience: This is not your typical Gala. We transform the space into an Adult Youth Centre! Buy a punch card when you come in, and take part in various activities like Virtual Golf (Best Ball), Pop a shot (Basketball) and much much more. If you’re on top of the leaderboard at the end of the night? Win some amazing awards/prizes.

Dress Code: Cocktail Casual with a Youthful Twist - Wear your statement shoes.

Stylish and comfortable, this is your night to look great and have fun! Make sure to wear your favourite footwear or sneakers as a fun way to tie into the theme, helping youth build momentum, overcome barriers and take steps forward in life!

Fundraising Goal – And What’s Up with the Balloons?
This year, we aim to raise $125,000. These funds will provide 83 individual youth with full access to Youth One for an entire year through our Launch Forward Initiative.
For every $1,500 collectively given, one youth receives a full school year of access to daily meals, after-school programs, support services, mentorship, and more.

White Balloon – For every $125 you give, you'll receive 1 white balloon at your table (representing one month of sponsorship for a youth to attend Youth One).
Big Blue Balloon – For every $1,500 you give, you'll receive 1 big blue balloon at your table (representing one full year of sponsorship for a youth).

About Youth One:

Youth One provides prevention and mentorship based, out of school programs and support services for youth ages 11-18. Programs are designed to give teens a community of belonging, support and guidance during their most formative years - at no finanical barrier.

Founded in 2014 in Lethbridge, Youth One was established to address a major gap in many communities: the need for prevention and mentorship-based programs during out-of-school hours - with no financial barrier. In Lethbridge, 1 in every 5 youth grows up in a low-income setting. In Canada, 1 in every 2 youth grows up without a mentor or role model in their life. This lack of support can lead to increased risk factors, such as substance abuse, crime, mental health issues, and school dropout rates.
Research shows that even one positive role model in a young person’s life can dramatically reduce these risks. That’s why we are committed to making sure no youth has to face life’s challenges alone. We believe that when youth are supported to reach their full potential, the future health of our community improves.
Since its inception, Youth One has helped thousands of youth through after-school drop-in programs, support groups, leadership training, food services, life skills development, and more
