The International Union of Judicial Officers (UIHJ) is an international non-governmental organization created in 1952 to promote, coordinate, and develop the activities of judicial officers and legal officers in the international arena. Through close collaboration between representative professional bodies at the national level, the UIHJ strives to ensure the dignity and independence of the profession to provide better service to individuals and the community.Currently, the UIHJ has 103 members from 98 different countries. It also actively collaborates with various international organizations such as the UN, UNCITRAL, the Hague Conference on Private International Law, the World Bank, the IMF, USAID, the Council of Europe and CEPEJ, the European Union, the EBRD, the European Law Institute (ELI), OHADA and ERSUMA, the UEMOA, and ASEAN.

L’Union internationale des huissiers de justice (UIHJ) est une organisation non-gouvernementale internationale créée en 1952 dans le but de promouvoir, coordonner et développer l’activité des huissiers de justice et des officiers judiciaires dans le domaine international. Grâce à une collaboration étroite entre les organismes professionnels représentatifs au niveau national, l’UIHJ s’efforce d’assurer la dignité et l’indépendance de la profession pour offrir un meilleur service aux personnes et à la communauté.
Actuellement, l’UIHJ compte 103 membres provenant de 98 pays différents. En outre, elle collabore activement avec diverses organisations internationales telles que l’ONU, la CNUDCI, la Conférence de La Haye de droit international privé, la Banque mondiale, le FMI, USAID, le Conseil de l’Europe et la CEPEJ, l’Union européenne, la BERD, l’Institut de droit européen (ELI), l’Ohada et l’Ersuma, l’UEMOA et l’Asean.
