We are excited to test out a new second division of club XVs rugby in Norway. After the call from clubs for more playing opportunities for players across the country, we are happy to launch a test of the concept of a second tier/development series. Clubs will take it in turns to host a number of clubs for a weekend full of rugby and valuable playing time!
This will allow clubs to put forward a team for a combination of XVs and 10s rugby - dependant on the numbers available - on a regular basis and provide a pathway up the playing ladder.
We really hope that this will lead to the full time implementation of a second tier series for XVs rugby in Norway to fight with the current established teams.
