Following a tour of Canada, Xani returns to Kew Court House with guitarist Cristian Barbieri to present their new collection of songs and music. Under the guise of a ‘Guide to Getting Through This’, this intimate performance includes ruminations on grief, love, depression, loss and inspiration.
This is the ideal show for lovers, date nights or even for people in search of love in the most unlikely of places. Musician, improviser, collaborator, singer, songwriter and principally an electric violin player, Xani Kolac approaches music making from so many levels the outcome is something distinct, venturing into the spaces between pop, jazz, electronic and chamber. A musician of the highest regard, Xani’s live performance is unforgettable.
