A four day artist wānanga at Hungahungatoroa marae for whanau creatives and makers to share, learn and create.We are holding our first Wānanga Toi at Hungahungatoroa marae on 13th-16th April 2025. This initiative is a collective effort to bring together twenty five whānau artists to share their skills, learn from each other, and collaboratively create art that reflects our stories, whakapapa, our connection to Waipu, to Rangataua Harbour and to our marae, Hungahungatoroa, Waikari and Whareroa.
