2024/2025 Women's only days to ride the legendary trails up The Gorge without the trail chad's raining on our parade. Super chill vibes with the revolving shuttle system getting us up the hill with no pressure. Ride one lap or as many as you can squeeze in! This is a great opportunity to come and see the trails if you've never been before, ride with other women and get stoked on our amazing mtb community.
We've got a special price of $89pp (members and non-members) rather than the usual $100/$129. Camping is available on Friday or Saturday night at Barry's flat for a Koha.
Sat November 30th - ONLY 18 spaces available as we're linking up with a rad crew of women from Christchurch for the weekend. To celebrate this we're having a potluck morning tea (aka first lunch) at Irvines Hut between 11-12. Please bring a dish to share—whether it’s sweet, savory, or a refreshing drink. For those not familiar with the place Irvines has a stove, kettle and basic kitchen setup (plates/cups/cutlery) and stunning views!
Sat January 25th - 40 spaces - Summer vibes, long days and the wairoa river is finally 'warm' enough for an end of day swim
Sat May 24th - 40 spaces - Pre ride the Gorge winter enduro trails and get those autumn hero dirt conditions
On the day:
Arrive at The Gorge, Barrys Flat Car park between 8-8.30am
Sign in and head over to the shuttles pick up. Ride to your heart's content and when you reach the shuttle pickup wait for the next available vehicle. Either Quarry pickup or razor bridge pickup. You will need to ride in groups (at least pairs), and each group will have a radio to keep in touch with drivers and each other.
The last shuttle pickup will be at 3pm.
